The students in Psychology 345 are holding a supply drive on the Schaumburg campus between Monday, April 4th and Thursday, April 14th. This drive will benefit WINGS (Women in Need Growing Stronger), an organization in Palatine that helps homeless and abused women by offering shelter, educational services, and other forms of support.
Donation boxes will be set up around the Schaumburg campus, and you can drop items off at any time. Items on the WINGS spring wish list include:
- household cleaning items (dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, toilet cleaner, floor cleaner, sponges, etc.)
- kitchen basics, including paper towels, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, trash bags
- children’s products, such as baby wipes, 3-4T diapers, baby monitors, pedialyte
If you are not sure if something is appropriate to donate, please contact Dr. Jill Coleman at jcoleman@roosevelt.edu, or look for the flyers around the Schaumburg campus. Thanks for your support of our class and of WINGS!
